Spring in the Bay of Kotor

A couple walking the harbour front in spring sunshine

Spring in Montenegro arrives softly. Fresh air. Soft light. A sense of new. The air clears the landscape reawakens and the hills turn green.

Mornings begin with open windows and pale golden light spilling into the villa.

Days invite movement: coastal walks, a Perast day trip and Boat journeys across the Bay of Kotor. Hiking trails through Lovcen National Park, or a visit to Skadar Lake as nature returns to full colour.

As the season shifts, so do the local flavours. Wild asparagus dishes, and early strawberries and cherries. Fresh seafood is enjoyed slowly, often outdoors, and often without planning.

Your afternoons will drift easily on the terrace between sun and shade, and the evenings feel fresh and unhurried as conversations stretch longer.

A season of renewal and a sense that summer is approaching.
